Metal Slug Zero (Fan Art) Eri (ver_fat)

This is Eri from Metal Slug.
I drew this piece while thinking about my own take on the series.

As a project that was once so deeply loved, it was unfortunate to see it fade away due to disappointing management decisions and the limitations of its genre at the time. With that in mind, I created this fan art with the idea of “starting again from zero.”

In my personal interpretation, Eri was originally overweight. After enlisting in the military, she developed a healthy, fit body. Then, in a twist on the series’ second installment, I imagined an ironic reversal where she gains weight again due to indulging in food — a bit of a yo-yo effect. (laughs)

Anyway, this is my version of Eri as I imagine her.
